Survey reveals application vulnerabilities

Forrester Consulting on behalf of Veracode has released a survey on application management, says Marketwire.

The survey revealed that enterprises are struggling to protect their organisations from the costly and growing threat of business application breaches.

The survey of nearly 200 businesses found that more than 62% of organisations have experienced a security breach in the past 12 months due to exploitation of vulnerabilities in their critical applications.

NetSuite rolls out application tool

NetSuite, a developer of integrated on demand ERP and CRM business software, has unveiled its SuiteCloud Developer Network, reports IT Business.

The new programme includes the SuiteCloud developer network for ISVs and SuiteApp.com, a single-source online marketplace where ISVs, customers and solution providers can find partner-developed applications to meet specific business and industry needs.

Guido Haarmans, vice-president of the NetSuite developer network, says: “We looked at what the opportunity was for developers and we saw a platform that's very mature and we saw great opportunity for ISVs to build vertical applications”.
