Ndizani signs two more in the Cape

Ndizani Enterprise Networks (NEN) Cape, a subsidiary of the black-led information and communication technology services company, Ndizani Info Communications Group has signed two new projects in the Western Cape, the Cape Town City Council and Helderberg municipality.

NEN will be upgrading and maintaining the network operating system of the Cape Town City Council as well as their messaging system of some 2500 users with the roll-out of one of Ndizani Enterprise Networks` flagship products, Novell GroupWise 5.5. Ndizani will also maintain and upgrade the network operating system of the Helderberg municipality with the roll-out of Novell NetWare and GroupWise 5.5.

GroupWise 5.5 provides a stable, high-performance, -ready collaboration solution that enables businesses to gather, access and communicate information easily from a single interface. Working in concert with other Novell products such as Novell Directory Services (NDS) and NetWare 5, GroupWise 5.5 provides the most scalable, reliable and powerful collaboration solution available today.

"We have worked closely with customers throughout the development of GroupWise 5.5 to ensure it would incorporate the new features they require, such as enhanced document management, Internet support and integrated Web publishing," said Novell SE manager James Stewart. "In addition, GroupWise 5.5 has successfully met all of Novell`s stringent exit criteria, guaranteeing that customers will benefit from a stable product that is ready to meet the demands of business."

Dean Spyropoulos, MD of Ndizani Enterprise Networks says his division has been able to exceed stringent service level agreements, in excess of 90 percent, in the industry. He has a team of some 60 engineers working around the clock.

Ndizani Enterprise Networks is one of a few certified Novell Business in the Western Cape. It is also a Microsoft Solution Provider as well as Cisco . Its four divisions, Desktop Servers, Enterprise Networks, Team Novell, Team Microsoft and Project management concentrate on desktop hardware and roll-out, LAN and WAN design and maintenance, and project management.
