FireID, a leading provider of world-class security applications for mobile authentication, today announced that its UK distributor, CiRRUS Management Solutions, signed a reseller agreement with Nebulas Solutions Group, a security, acceleration and virtualisation specialist. With CiRRUS as its distributor, FireID is rapidly building a network of channel partnerships to deliver its mobile two-factor authentication solutions to UK enterprise.
Under the terms of the agreement, FireID will join Nebulas Solutions Group's Technology Incubator Programme. UK customers will have access to FireID's authentication software, which secures payments, transactions and access to company virtual private networks (VPNs) against sophisticated methods of identity theft and transaction fraud, including man-in-the-browser attacks.
With FireID, end-users generate a one-time password via their mobile phone to securely and conveniently log in to online banking, e-commerce Web sites, cloud-based applications and VPNs without the need to remember multiple passwords or carry a hardware token. This announcement comes at a time when an increasing number of employees are joining the mobile workforce, making secure remote access a high priority for UK enterprises.
