Recognising the growth in the SOHO and SME market NEC have launched a range of product developed specifically for this market segment. The NEC SOHO and SME product range is designed to grow with the customer, from a non-networked, stand-alone notebook to a high-end, fully managed server.
The three-product range consists of the VERSA AX and VX notebooks, the Direction desktop and Express 5800 TM1100+ server.
The new Versa AX notebook model is a full-featured value solution that will appeal to companies of all sizes who are looking for a sleek, all-in-one design with solid performance and Internet accessibility. The AX also features the latest NEC DSTN screen, integrated communication capacity, integrated disk drive and 24X CD ROM Drive. The Versa VX offers Intel 500MHz Celeron performance along with NEC`s world re-known TFT LCD technology.

The Express5800 TM1100+ is a system dedicated to bringing true server functionality to the small/medium business and remote office environments, under the traditional brand values of quality and affordability synonymous with the NEC Express5800 server line. The TM1100 mono-processor design supports one Pentium III processor, memory up to 768MB and internal storage space of 72.8GB. Added data security is available through optional RAID features.
