NEC Computers South Africa today announced that it had appointed Plasmaview Technologies as a sub-distributor for the full range of Plasma products available from NEC.
"With the recent investment by NEC Computers International in SA, this new relationship provides us the opportunity of offering world-leading products from one of the world`s top five technology companies into the local market on a national basis," commented Graham Brett, GM Sales NEC SA.
"Plasmaview already has an impressive track record, and we are delighted to be able to orchestrate this alliance for the marketing of a technology that has so many advantages than were previously available," continued Brett.
NEC is currently the only supplier that can offer a 61-inch product in addition to the normal smaller sizes (42-inch and 50-inch) that are prevalent in the local marketplace.
Plasmaview Technologies, established some four years ago, is the leading South African organisation for Plasma technology products. It has an extensive sales, maintenance and support operation for this type of technology, and has numerous installations across the country and in many different vertical industries.
