Len de Villiers, Nedbank's director of group technology, has resigned from the group after 15 years of service. His resignation is effective 31 July.
Greg Harwood, of Nedbank Corporate Media Relations, says De Villiers resigned to pursue another opportunity in the ICT sector.
"There is an ongoing search for his replacement and a joint announcement will be made in due course," he adds.
De Villiers joined the bank in January 1993, and occupied several senior management positions within technology and operations. He was appointed to the executive committee in 2003.
Under his leadership, the group technology division implemented several projects that greatly benefited the group's business and clients, says Nedbank.
