Neller acquires MPB

Australian-owned human resource (HR) solutions developer Neller has acquired Miller Payroll Bureau (MPB) to help it enter the managed services business, reports CRN.

Started about 33 years ago, Neller, provides workforce management solutions for medium to large organisations in Australia and New Zealand. Its product, Preceda on Demand, is a Web-based workforce management product.

David Page, MD of Neller, said Sydney-based MPB has been providing payroll services to a number of companies including Harvey Norman's franchisee network. Page said the company has also formed a new offshoot, Neller Employmer Services, to incorporate MPB.

NorthgateArinso intros HR platform

NorthgateArinso, a global provider of HR systems and services, has released its HR solutions platform, ResourceLink Aurora, according to PRWire.

The new platform enables Australian HR professionals to choose the delivery method that works best for them, and provides quick access to workforce information, with all elements of HR and payroll together.

According to the company, ResourceLink Aurora is highly configurable, and the product's latest release includes a Web-based user interface and the ability to add complementary information such as reference checking tools, business intelligence data, weather reports and news feeds from external sources.

Convergys' contract renewed

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission has renewed its contract with Convergys for HR and payroll services for another two years, says RFP Connect.

The original five-year contract included recruiting, compensation, HR administration, payroll, benefits, learning, HR information system support, and employee service centre services.

As a provider of HR solutions, Convergys partners with HR clients to drive more value from employee relationships, fostering greater organisational effectiveness and lowering costs.
