Net Brothers launches Internet Marketing Workshop

Johannesburg, 13 Sep 1999

Net Brothers, South Africa`s first independent e-business consulting and development firm, has launched a new workshop to help marketers learn the fundamentals of marketing and selling on the .

Dubbed iMarket, the workshop has been developed as part of a new workshop series designed to help companies transform from a traditional business into an electronic business.

"The Internet Marketing Workshop is the culmination of many years of online marketing", says John Ginsberg, technical manager and co-founder. "Many of the techniques we teach are based on our own experiences, learnt through trial and error".

The workshops are presented in single 8-hour sessions, covering topics ranging from finding your target audience online to direct marketing via e-mail.

"It`s important for companies to realise that marketing and selling over the Internet is different to the way it`s done traditionally. An advert that normally generates a reasonable response in traditional media can have no effect whatsoever online", adds Ginsberg. "The workshop demonstrates this, and also explains how to overcome this problem."

"The workshop is offered to companies on their premises", says Ginsberg, "as it is much more convenient for them. We are also going to be holding two sessions for a group of 10 to 20 people towards the end of October, but it is subject to demand."

Interested parties are invited to contact John Ginsberg at (011) 783-7692 or via e-mail at john@netbrothers.com to arrange a booking, or to request further information. More information is also available at http://www.netbrothers.com/imarket.htm
