Net1 UEPS appoints regional MD

Net1 UEPS has announced that Dhruv Chopra will take the reigns as the company's MD and country manager of India from 15 July.

In a statement released by Net1 UEPS on Friday, the company says Chopra, who will relocate to Mumbai, will be responsible for growing Net1 UEPS's presence in the region, as well as oversee the company's investor relations activities from Mumbai for the foreseeable future.

Chopra will visit the company's shareholders on a regular basis and continue to be responsive to investor requests. He continues to be reachable via e-mail on dchopra@net1.com and his new phone number and address will be posted on the Net1 UEPS's investor relations homepage as soon as practicable.
