Netcat scores twice in Oz
Netcat has scored twice by securing deals to buy its software with a New South Wales local government authority and the authority responsible for the safe operation of Australia's civil aviation industry, states IT Wire.
The content management software provider's GM, Steven Walker, says the Mid-western Regional Council had selected the Netcat Web software and consulting services to facilitate a knowledge management strategy for the council. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority would use the software as the solution for an enterprise-level Web content management system.
Walker adds that the regional council's knowledge management strategy had been initiated in order to capture, classify, manage, and distribute the vast amount of information available within the council, including that residing in the experience of council staff.
