In light of today`s increasing need for improved wireless communications, Duxbury Networking has announced that Netgear`s RangeMax range of wireless products is now available to South African users.
RangeMax increases wireless range with as much as 1 000% in both wireless coverage and speed (when compared to standard 802.11g) while at the same time mitigating dead spots with its Smart MIMO-G (Multi-Input, Multi-Output) technology.
The Smart MIMO-G technology incorporates seven internal antennas, enabling the RangeMax products to constantly survey home environments that includes physical barriers, walls, reflection and interference.
"Also, RangeMax products feature 127 antenna configurations for maximum throughput at each location," explains Andy Robb, Technology Specialist at Duxbury.
RangeMax is based on the 2.4GHz 802.11g and offers support for all existing 802.11 specifications. Products include the RangeMax Wireless Router, RangeMax Wireless PCI Card, RangeMax Wireless Adapter and RangeMax Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter.
