Duxbury Networking has introduced Netgear`s Storage Central, an expandable storage solution that enables companies to store, share and backup digital content with their local hard drives.
Basically, Storage Central can be connected to any wired or wireless router from any vendor and configured with the solution`s bundled install assistant - files can then be accessed from a PC on the network as a simple letter drive.
The solution automatically stores and duplicates important digital content such as music, games, photos and more, and ensures that no one can access data files. Additionally, companies can expand outgrown storage volumes and add more capacity when needed.

Storage Central incorporates Netgear`s True SAN network storage technology which enables centralised storage across multiple networked PCs. The technology, for example, provides block-level data transfers, thus delivering sustained performance synonymous with SAN environments.
