Netsurit a finalist for Top ICT Workplace Provider in Africa

Netsurit has been named as a Finalist for the 2006 Top ICT Workplace Provider in Africa Award
Johannesburg, 27 Nov 2006

The team at Netsurit is proud to announce that the company was nominated as one of three finalists for the Top ICT Workplace Provider in Africa Award at 2006 African ICT Achiever Awards. The other finalists were IBM South Africa and Accenture.

The African ICT Achievers Awards are widely known as the "Oscars" of the ICT sector and has seen tremendous growth over the past 7 years. A stronger drive into Africa is a key focus for 2006, with emphasis on women, investment, education, SMEs and innovation.

Jennifer Custers, our HR manager, lead a team to present their nomination to a panel of judges at the office of ForgeAhead on the 12th October. KPMG are the official auditors of the interview and evaluation process. The Finalists were announced to the media at the Finalist Breakfast on 11 October 2006. At this event, certificates signed by the Minister of the Department of Communications were handed over to all finalists.

The winners were announced at a star-studded banquet hosted by the Minister of Communications on 25th November 2006 at the Sandton Convention Centre, and broadcast live on SABC.

This accolade follows hard on the heels of Netsurit scooping Microsoft's 2006 World Sales and Marketing Partner of the Year for Networking Infrastructure Solutions, an award that no other South African company has achieved.
