Three months after losing its investment from technology company Datatec, network support and integration provider Teklab has declared insolvency.
Datatec reportedly held a 51% stake in Teklab, but distanced itself from the company in April this year due to alleged unsatisfactory performance on Teklab`s part.
Although Teklab MD and co-founder Ian Rowland was unavailable for comment, IT services provider netsurit MD Orrin Klopper confirmed that his company has secured four of Teklab`s top technicians.
"All the Teklab consultants hold a similar vision [to netsurit`s] for IT and where it will go in SA - we welcome their experience," says Klopper.
