Local managed outsourcing IT provider to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), Netsurit, has won Microsoft's Small Business Specialist Partner of the Year Award, an inaugural award that has been established to strengthen relations with Microsoft's local dealers and partners, rewarding them for their dedication and commitment.
Rian van der Walt, technology director at Netsurit, says this award gives the company the recognition that links back to its mission, vision and cause, tied in with all the hard work the company has done over the last 14 years in the SME target market.
"It is in sync with the entrepreneurial client base we support. This year, I believe the awards were very objective, with grilling panel interviews, and we were up against some strong adversaries. The award instils the recognition for the level of service we offer clients," he adds.
Van der Walt says that Netsurit's success this year, and previous years, is attributed to its highly skilled staff complement, sound business processes/systems and detailed understanding of its clients, he adds.
"In addition to delivering a consistent performance both monthly and quarterly, Netsurit's continuous analysis of its business has allowed the company to identify, uncover and nurture growth opportunities for the months and years ahead with its customers."
Orrin Klopper, CEO at Netsurit, concurs. "Our partnership with Microsoft is critically important in our strategy, we are very grateful to be recognised for our focus on established entrepreneurial companies.
"We showed ourselves to be strongly aligned with Microsoft, its initiatives and activities and offered high levels of service to our clients consistently over the year, showing an increasingly proactive approach to customer satisfaction."
Jenny Prospero, Partner Strategy and Programmes Lead: at Microsoft South Africa, says Netsurit offers robust and sophisticated in-house systems and a support model that is measurably world-class, and the award validates the company's focus on winning new customers and growing its business.
"At Microsoft, we invest fully in the vision and culture of customer service with our objectives being to deliver uncompromisingly on time, with high customer focus. I believe it is for these reasons that Netsurit has been acknowledged in this manner."
Prospero goes on to say that in addition to this, Microsoft acknowledges companies like Netsurit who are holistically dedicated to their customer solutions.
She says Orrin and his team are truly dedicated to Microsoft's solutions and, while it may be easy to highlight the benefits, it still takes a high level of commitment and perseverance to keep the Microsoft name top of mind in local company circles, especially in tough economic times.
"Netsurit has continued to invest in Microsoft solutions and technology over the past year, and has become one of the key small to midsized focused partners in the country. The company's innovative way of talking enterprise, thinking and adapting them for the small business is market leading.
"The Netsurit approach to the small business market tailors 'big bang for small budget' perfectly. It is good to see such a solid focus on customer growth, customer service and enabling of people in this organisation," she concludes.
