Network Critical Ltd has appointed Condyn as distributor for its range of Critical TAPs in sub-Saharan Africa.

One of the largest problems faced when deploying NIDS solutions, is a switched environment. Most switches cannot handle the spanning loads and the NIDS therefore loses a lot of information. The Critical TAP provides complete assistance to the NIDS solution in any network configuration. This device is a permanent fixture to the network that assists the NIDS solution in monitoring the network against attacks, effectively eliminating the need for spanning ports on switches.
