In a bid to address industry-wide complaints about growing complexity and low implementation success rates associated with enterprise management solutions, Cabletron Systems announced two new network management packages in its Spectrum family.
"Cabletron is tackling the serious issue of helping customers minimise much of the risk commonly associated with the initial purchase and implementation of a management platform," says Cabletron Systems SA country manager, Martin May.
"Network users want more than an ongoing features battle, they need to get effective solutions deployed and in the management of networks and services," he says.
The Spectrum Starter Bundle equips new Spectrum customers with a combination of product and services recommended for the critical foundation layer of network management.
The Optimization Bundle provides Cabletron`s existing Spectrum customers with a means to obtain higher utilisation of their investment.
