Johannesburg-based Network Support Services (NSS) has been appointed a Cisco Premier Select partner with specialisations in the areas of network management and security/VPN security for Cisco`s comprehensive range of internetworking solutions, which includes routers, switches, dial-up access servers, wireless, voice access, security, network management, content delivery networks and long-range Ethernet.
NSS has made a significant financial commitment as well as undertaken extensive training locally and internationally to achieve its Cisco Network Management and VPN/Security specialisations.
"The extensive training and experience standard demanded of a Cisco certified partner ensures networking customers that NSS can serve them effectively at every stage of their network`s development from design, installation and configuration, to performance testing and enhancement as the system grows," said Steve Midgley, Cisco Channel Director for Africa.
NSS director Lynda Odendaal said qualification as a Cisco Premier Select partner was a logical move for the company, which has a successful track record of providing customers with Infrastructure Service Assurance Management solutions utilising industry-leading software such as HP`s OV Performance Insight, NetIQ, SMARTS and Visionael.
