eSafe Technologies SA has announced the immediate termination of its affiliation with Aladdin Knowledge Systems (AKS). This move also signifies a name change for eSafe Technologies SA to Netxactics Distribution, in order to more accurately reflect the company`s decision to expand its product line to include various IT security products from leading international manufacturers.
Says Brett Myroff, CEO of Netxactics Distribution, "To ensure maximum market penetration, Netxactics Distribution will bring focus to a broader content security offering that will include firewalls, access control and encryption solutions.
"We will also fill a gap that exists in the security market for e-mail checking and management, secure messaging, network and desktop surveillance as well as VPN and traffic shaping solutions," he says.
Often companies in the SME segment of the market are excluded from protecting their networks due to the high price of quality products. Myroff believes this to be one of the areas in which Netxactics will be able to provide products and solutions that are affordable but do not compromise on quality, thus enabling more SA companies to participate in the global economy.
"We will further be setting up a comprehensive channel programnme, with a range of products suited to all sectors of the IT security market."
