New appointment strengthens Oc'e South Africa's management

A dedicated Oc'e South Africa employee has risen through the ranks, and has been appointed to head up one of the largest divisions in the company.

Johannesburg, 28 Mar 2011

Leading document management and printing expert, Oc'e South Africa, is proud to announce the appointment of Neil Kotze as the company's new Digital Document Solutions (DDS) product manager.

Oc'e South Africa marketing manager, Peter Enslin, points out that the DDS division is responsible for 75% of the company's total equipment sales, and placing the correct person to head this division was crucial.

“Kotze was awarded the position in December 2011, following his excellent performance in his previous position in the company as software operations manager. His strong software background gives him a great understanding of customer applications, and this knowledge is vital in training sales people in the systems behind Oc'e equipment,” says Enslin.

Kotze, who has more than seven years of experience at Oce South Africa, says he is looking forward to the prospect of furthering his career within the company. “I am excited by the prospect of my new position. It gives me the ability to learn about the challenges and opportunities to further promote Oc'e's footprint in South Africa,” he explains. “The experience gained from an operational perspective in my previous position also allows me to anticipate unforeseen areas where challenges might be overlooked in the solution planning and investigation phases.”

What's more, Kotze adds that the new position presents him with the opportunity to further develop his focus on promoting the hardware and software aspect of Oc'e solutions. “Another important aspect of my role will be to add as much value to our clients' existing and new printing and document requirements,” he continues.

Looking to the future, Kotze says Oce's main focus for 2011 will be to up-skill the company's sales team in the different software packages and workflow generation scenarios. “By assisting the sales team in better understanding and developing our clients' document flow process, Oc'e will be able to offer the best solutions, which are tailor-made to each customer's specific requirements,” he explains.

Enslin adds that another focus for 2011 will be to continue to create value by providing insight. “Oc'e would like to be recognised as a true partner, rather than just a vendor of products and services, and Kotze has a definitive role to play in that mission. This, together with our sales force's accumulated knowledge of the industry, will qualify us for true partner status,” he concludes.
