New boss for Grintek

Grintek has appointed Makhuparetja Nyama as acting CEO of Grintek.

Nyama replaces outgoing CEO Shaun Liebenberg, who in April was named CEO designate at state-owned arms company Denel.

Nyama`s appointment also follows the recent delisting and privatisation of Grintek as a result of the purchase of a majority stake in the company by Swedish group Saab.

Grintek says Nyama will play a leading role in co-ordinating Grintek`s integration with Saab, and creating appropriate organisational structures.

Nyama has been CEO of Grintek`s Technologies division since November.

He worked at IBM and Telkom before joining Argil Intellect as managing director in 1999.

When Argil was incorporated into CS Holdings in 2001 he was appointed an executive director and later deputy CE responsible for , operations and business development.
