webINTELLECT has announced the appointment of a new CEO to ensure effective launch of their 3blx product.
Mr Poena le Roux takes over from 1st January 2004.
Le Roux has a wealth of experience in successfully establishing new initiatives. Le Roux has widespread experience in, New Venture Business Case definitions, Technology related Business Start-ups, Business Management, Financial Management and Personnel Management.
Le Roux started his career in the South African Air Force. He joined Infoplan in 1987 and in 1989 he moved to Paradigm Systems Technologies. In 1991 he founded BITS (Pty) Ltd. In 1994, while still running BITS as the MD, he founded LBMS-SA. In 1996 both BITS and LBMS-SA were bought by QDATA. With the acquisition of LBMS in 1998 by PLATINUM he joined PLATINUM. He left PLATINUM in 1999 when PLATINUM was bought by Computer Associates and merged SIS with ARGIL to establish ABSOLIT.
