Corex has released a new wireless router from CNet Technology. Dubbed the 54M Wireless-G Router, it is designed to facilitate an introduction to networking for first time, small office or home office (SoHo) users.
It features an integrated 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch and provides for all the advantages of networking, including the sharing of files and peripherals, such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs and DVDs, says Corex MD Fred Lu.
The router also features a built-in firewall, virtual private networking functions, encryption facilities and a "DMZ configuration" that allows users to play accelerated games over the Internet.
* CNet also provides a family of wired and wireless wide area networking products including routers, switches, broadband modems and network adapters.
