South African HP distributor, Rectron has introduced the Photosmart 7260, a compact printer that produces true-to-life photos - A4 or borderless - from PCs, Macs or direct from digital cameras.
Says Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager: "The Photosmart 7260 is a must-have as the true-to-life printing functionality resists fading as well as produces images that look like real photographs."
The Photosmart 7260 features six-ink printing with HP Photoret IV precision technology for true-to-life colours that is optimised for skin tones.
The printer also supports all digital memory cards such as CompactFlash Type 1 and 11, IBM MicroDrive, SmartMedia and Secure Digital.
In addition, one-touch buttons make it easy to print and save photos. "For example, the printer automatically detects paper size (A4 or 10 x 15cm) and adjusts the layout to save paper," he explains.
Lastly, the Photosmart 7260 features HP Photo & Imaging software - including HP Memories Disc Creator - that can be used for creative and fun projects.
