The new CompaqPresario 5FR122 offers a full entry-level multimedia PC experience at an attractive price level, making it attractive to first-time buyers, consumers on a budget and even the small/home office user. The new unit comes in at R7 499 including VAT or R6 999 with the purchase of a one-year M-Web Internet contract.

The Presario 5FR122, which includes a 15-inch Presario monitor, features an Intel Celeron 850MHz CPU, 20GB hard disk drive, 64MB RAM, integrated sound and video with 8MB shared video RAM, 50x CD-ROM drive and 56k modem. In addition, a recovery CD is included as are Microsoft Windows ME, Microsoft Word and Works 2000 and McAfee anti-virus software pre-installed.
