New Dawn named Fujitsu Siemens Computers corporate reseller

Johannesburg, 04 Apr 2006

New Dawn Technologies (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of New Dawn Holdings, has become a Fujitsu Siemens Computers corporate reseller.

"As the implementation partner at the applications level, we have identified the opportunity to bundle our infrastructure into the total solution offered to the client, thus creating a single point of contact. Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Fujitsu Services, the world`s fourth largest providers of IT solutions and services technology, provide us with state-of-the-art server technology to fit our customers` needs," says Vusi Jennings, Managing Director of New Dawn Technologies.

"This alliance with Fujitsu Siemens Computers enables us to focus our approach holistically towards the data centre. We will bring our resident multi-level skills to bear in developing effective and efficient solutions for our clients in both the public and private sectors."

New Dawn Technologies, a black-owned company, understands that customers are increasingly looking for a credible empowered entity from which to procure holistic IT services and solutions, with a single point-of-contact. Most key on the list of requirements from customers is a reduction in TCO.

"New Dawn Technologies is a highly-reputable and credible black-owned IT company that is capable of offering turnkey IT solutions to large organisations in the public and private sectors," says Mark Wilson, Managing Director of Fujitsu Siemens Computers. "They are an ideal partner for us in that they offer our end-user customers skills across the entire spectrum of the IT discipline."

New Dawn Technologies approaches the sector through engaging with customers, researching their requirements and then assisting in developing the ideal solutions strategy for the organisation. Upon agreeing the strategy, New Dawn then develops and implements the solutions to match the strategy. For private sector clients, the key business driver is value from the solutions, while in the public sector, measurement and drivers vary according to broader requirements from the constituencies. Through New Dawn Technologies, Fujitsu Siemens Computers offers a number of niche solutions that complement the applications to drive down TCO and increase productivity.

"At New Dawn Technologies, we adopt a building blocks approach when developing solutions for our clients. We pay careful consideration to issues like TCO and scalability, as we would like to see our solutions making a positive contribution to the growth of our customer`s organisation," says Jennings.

New Dawn Technologies believes that information management is all about freeing the flow of information to the users. The company provides mission-critical applications in the enterprise space, offering best-of-breed ERP, business intelligence, data warehousing, document management and ultimately data centre solutions. Taking into account the human element, the application element and the infrastructure element, New Dawn Technologies` overall approach is based on the principles of consult, design, build and operate.

"We are not in the commodity market," says Jennings. "We architect end-to-end solutions for our clients and constantly seek to increase our penetration into our clients` businesses with the objective of building continuity through the depth and range of skills we offer. It is vital for us to be positioned as business partners and not just an external service provider. We believe through our relationship with key global ISVs, including Fujitsu Siemens Computers, we will bring additional value to our customer base."
