McKay's experience in the reseller environment makes him a valuable addition, says DCC.

Distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has appointed Matthew McKay as its Dell enterprise product specialist, in a move described by the company as important for growing the Dell brand.

According to the distributor, McKay will assist in driving sales of enterprise hardware for the company and managing its stock of the Dell enterprise portfolio.

McKay's background includes a role as internal account manager in the reseller environment, focusing on selling and promoting Dell products to end-user customers in the small to medium business market segment.

DCC notes that McKay's history placed him in good stead to bolster his readiness for a role on the Dell enterprise team. "McKay's knowledge of the reseller environment will provide him with the expertise to drive sales within the distribution environment, further assisting the Dell Enterprise team at DCC," says the company in a statement.

"Technology is always evolving and now is the time to be at the forefront of these changes. This position will allow me to be a part of this evolution and allow me to further extend my knowledge within the Dell portfolio," says McKay.

He joined DCC in 2013 as an internal sales person, before being offered the position on the Dell enterprise team to further assist the company's sales force.

Jaco Erasmus, Dell enterprise division manager at DCC, says McKay's experience in the reseller environment will ensure queries are resolved swiftly and efficiently. "Due to response times being critical, Matthew's role is allowing us to ensure deadlines are met and larger workloads are much more manageable," he notes.
