A new ADSL2+ router, capable of providing fast Gigabit-speed wired connections and Wireless N (802.11n standard) functionality for improved speed and extended range in wireless mode, has been released by Duxbury Networking.
The Netgear N300 DGN 3500 Router is said to be suitable for both professional and personal Internet use and features Netgear's ReadyShare facility that allows shared access to a wide range of USB storage devices.
In addition to basic Internet applications, the unit permits simultaneous downloads, and supports streaming voice and music. It also facilitates online gaming by meeting accepted gamers' quality of service (QOS) standards designed to ensure reliable, jitter-free Internet connections.

According to Duxbury Networking, the Netgear N300 provides separate security and access restrictions for guests using the network, as well as a handy 'push-n-connect' feature designed to secure the wireless Internet connection at the push of a button.
