HP`s new Designjet 100plus, which replaces the Designjet 100, takes printing functionality to the next level with three independent paper paths as well as the ability to print various paper sizes, such as CAD and drawings - all from one printer.
Available immediately from official South African distributor Rectron, the Designjet 100plus can be described as a single printing solution, enabling companies to print the occasional large-format document or schematic without having to outsource it.
Looking at the paper paths, the automatic C-size paper tray accommodates 150 sheets of plain paper; the manual sheet feed tray prints custom media, while the rear straight-through path tray is ideal for thicker media.
"The new Designjet 100plus has is a perfect example of a printer that not only offer a number of printing functionalities but also drives down costly outsourcing, making it ideal for companies across spectrum, including advertising and design agencies," comments Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron.
Printing up to 11 pages per minute (ppm), the Designjet 100plus also features specially formulated inks, a 1 200dpi writing system and HP colour layering technology - all providing a wide gamut of colours, continuous tones and smooth colour transitions. Additionally, the AutoCAD drivers handle the intricacies of AutoCAD printing, including line styles and weights, line ends and joins, annotations and raster patterns.
