Leadtek has announced that its new 3D graphics card, the WinFast A380 Ultra TDH MyVIVO, is powered by NVIDIA`s GeForce FX 5950 Ultra GPU, enabling the company to offer higher levels of integration and operating clock speeds.
Distributed locally by Rectron, the WinFast A380 features PIP (picture in picture) and De-interlace functionalities for an advanced gaming experience.
"The WinFast A380`s DirectBurn feature, for example, enables users to record their favourite TV shows to disk or turn their PCs into digital video recorders for burning videos directly onto DVDs," comments Reon Coetzee, marketing manager of Rectron.
The WinFast also offers support for MPEG1/MPEG2/VCD/DVD video formats as well as MPEG1/MPEG2/MPEG4 video and MPEG3 audio codec configurations.
NVIDIA`s GeForce FX 5950 Ultra GPU offers fast memory speeds of up 980MHz DDR and delivers superior cinematic effects.
"NVIDIA`s CineFX 2.0 Engine enhances the WinFast`s A380`s vertex-processing capabilities, while programming complexity is also reduced, giving game developers the power to achieve any effect imaginable," he says.
"Fully generalised loops and branches can be data-dependent, simplifying the CineFX engine`s programming methodology."
The graphics card features Microsoft DirectX 9.0 and OpenGL1.5 Optimisations and Support that ensure the best performance and application compatibility for all DirectX 9 and OpenGL 1.5 applications.
