Rectron has today introduced a family of workstation graphics solutions from its principal, Leadtek. Targeted at the professional graphics market, they are said to deliver increased performance and innovative features such as graphics programmability and multi-display productivity.
The Leadtek AGP 8X workstation graphics solutions include the Leadtek Quadro4 980 XGL, Leadtek Quadro4 580 XGL, Leadtek Quadro4 380 XGL and Leadtek Quadro4 280 NVS offerings.
This "top-to-bottom" range of solutions is based on the latest NVIDIA Quadro4 AGP 8X workstation graphics technology from NVIDIA Corporation, a leader in visual processing solutions.
Based on Intel`s AGP 3.0 specification, the new NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL professional graphics solutions are said to offer up to 40% improvement in performance on OpenGL applications.
"NVIDIA Quadro4 is one of the most powerful graphics solutions available in the 3D professional market today, especially for processing professional animations and other large models," says Rui Perreira, general manager of Rectron.
