At a 2.8-inch folded height this is the thinnest flatscreen in its class. The monitors` f-engine technology features the first LCD picture-enhancing chip to provide not only astounding colour, but superb contrast and image quality.

This allows for full 360^0 movement with screen contents automatically rotating whichever way the screen moves. Forte Pivot allows the screen to be turned from landscape to portrait and with the slimmest monitor head depth at 26mm; the monitor can be folded flat to a height of 52mm.
Earlier mention was made of the LG LCD L1980U`s f-engine. This is the world`s first picture enhancing chip for LCD monitors and is ideal for mobile imaging in TV, mobile games and animation. Not only does it utilise DAFITM technology, but also includes real colour management (RCM) function to express vivid natural colours. Users are also able to enhance brightness and colour by means of the f-engine`s adaptive colour and contrast enhancement (ACE) functionality.
Other features worth mentioning is the LCD`s 160^0/160^0 viewing angles; 16.2 million display colours and monitor weight of only 5.6kg. The LCD is also Mac-compatible. With spec dimensions of 422 x 410 x 261mm the monitor is easily wall-mounted with wall-mount bracket included.
