Software Connection Ltd launched its `new look` Computer Superstore at the Loch Logan Centre in Bloemfontein on 1 October - the fourth of several stores to be upgraded and launched nationwide in the next three years.
The Computer Superstore is price-driven and boasts an array of products and services to consumers. The store has a `Digital` counter which will house the latest technology such as PDA`s and digital cameras; a small technical services and Upgrade Centre; a cellular phone counter; and staff will be able to approve finance via the Internet within five minutes.
The 400 square-metre Computer Superstore also has impressive signage and a new store layout for easier shopping.
Software Connection Ltd acquired Computer Superstore in March this year. Commenting on the decision to add Computer Superstore to its already impressive stable, Anthony Delport, MD of Software Connection Ltd, said: "The acquisition of Computer Superstore made good commercial sense. It complements our existing retail businesses, and fills a market gap, strategically and geographically.
"We believe our `new look` store in Bloemfontein will be as successful as our other stores and will certainly offer consumers the best value on the latest products and computer accessories," added Delport.
Computer Superstore will offer consumers the best prices and an improved selection of computer hardware and software, with products for the whole family.
"New products have been introduced, employees have embarked on additional training, new systems have been installed, and matters that needed fine tuning have been addressed," said Delport.
"We are confident that we have positioned Computer Superstore to become South Africa`s best price-driven computer stores, offering friendly service, and no fuss. We look forward to implementing our plan of setting up further stores nationwide over the next three years in order to satisfy market demand," concluded Delport.
Existing Computer Superstores are based in Hillfox, Roodepoort; Randburg; Centurion; Edenvale; Bloemfontein and Welkom. New stores are planned for Pietersburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth. Durban, East London and George.
