Madge.connect(tm), part of Madge Networks N.V, has launched UniDriver LSS7, a free-to-download multibrand LAN driver suite for Madge and Olicom branded Token Ring network adapters. For the first time, UniDriver LSS7 enables network managers to reduce the time and associated cost of administering multiple brand LAN drivers across large organisations by using a single software driver.
Madge`s UniDriver LSS7 also provides an easier way for companies to implement 100Mbps connectivity at the desktop as it supports Madge and Olicom branded 16/4 Token Ring adapter cards and Madge 100/16/4 adapters. This means that large enterprises have more choice without increased costs, and can more easily deploy new IP-based applications to support e-commerce.
