As with all Madge Token Ring interface cards, the Madge Presto PCI Plus adapter runs on common network driver software to offer unattended installation, auto-configuration and automatic speed sensing, ensuring that large-scale rollouts can be easily and inexpensively deployed and maintained.
Featuring Madge Perspective LAN Tools software, the Madge Presto PCI Plus adapter provides investment protection with support for next generation Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows NT 5.0. The adapter also helps reduce energy costs by supporting Intel`s Wired for Management initiative and offering comprehensive power management and control features including Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI).
