Mobile operator Cell C has appointed Mafahle Mareletse as MD of the Cell C Service Provider Company with immediate effect.
Mareletse will fill the position vacated by Vince Raseroka, who resigned from the organisation with effect from 1 April, in order to work fulltime in his packaging company.
Talaat Laham, chairman and CEO of Cell C, says Mareletse has the ideal qualifications to play a major role in the introduction of innovative products and services, helping the company to further grow its subscriber base.
"Mafahle is up to the task of unlocking new opportunities for business growth and keeping Cell C uppermost in the minds of South Africans as the most competitive cellular service provider," says Laham.
Formerly the operator`s sales and distribution executive, Mareletse has also held executive roles at both the Airports Company of South Africa and Duracell.
His qualifications include a B Admin degree from the University of the North, and postgraduate diplomas from the University of South Africa and Wits Business School.
