Crux Information Technologies has established a Project Office as a regulatory body. The Project Office, headed by Mr. Piet Pienaar, ensures that all Project Managers within the group work to a prescribed methodology. The ultimate objective for this control is to have the Project Managers recognised within the industry for their efficiency and high standards.
Crux IT recently embarked on a program to improve project management skills and professionalism. As a first step, a Project Management Manual was compiled. This manual outlines the internal processes, project management policies, standards, procedures and guidelines that need to be adhered to. In support of the manual, a series of courses have been developed. The aim of these courses is to optimise the skills necessary for Project Managers to obtain their projects` milestones efficiently and effectively.
A Standards Forum, comprising of Crux`s most experienced project managers, review the methodology on a quarterly basis by utilising the inputs of the project participants and other Project Managers. This revision will ensure that the most recent tools and techniques are applied to maintain the highest quality in Project Management.
This recent venture at Crux IT, will not only benefit current Project Managers, but will also benefit Crux contractors who display the necessary potential to be promoted. These contractors will be guided and trained using the Project Management Program to develop their potential.
