New MSDN titles from Microsoft Press integrate developers` tools 14 May 2001

Johannesburg, 15 May 2001

Microsoft Software Developer Network brings together everything software developers need to enable them to work effectively - tools, technical information, training and the latest Microsoft tools and add-ons.

Now, the latest releases of MSDN titles, from Microsoft Press, will help developers learn how to create solutions with Microsoft tools and technologies, says Nisha Pillay, Microsoft Press product manager at Workgroup.

"The new MSDN titles have been designed to help developers who subscribe to MSDN," she adds. "They contain essential programming information, service packs and product updates and are ideal for developers wanting to learn more about Microsoft technologies.

"The MSDN manuals are geared towards advanced developers who want the latest in-depth information about languages and future products of Microsoft," says Pillay.

"They are invaluable because no other publisher has access to this kind of credible .NET info. In addition, our potential audience is more than eight million developers worldwide and if just 10% buy a single title, it means 800 000 books will be sold.

"The powerful content, early released information, concise format and authoritative facts make these books indispensable," she concludes.
