New name, focus for Logical SA

Johannesburg, 14 Jun 2001

Following a management buy-out (MBO) in March, Logical SA has relaunched with a new name, a new focus, and a much smaller team. 3fifteen, as the company is now known, will concentrate on custom business solutions development.

[VIDEO]James Baber, CEO of 3fifteen, says the MBO was prompted by former parent company Datatec`s refocusing of its in the 18 months prior to the decision. Logical SA was at that time a loss-making entity.

The 100% sale of the shareholding took place on 15 March, hence the company name.

Baber notes: "Going forward, we believe that this strategy will enable us to provide real value to our existing and future customers."
