A new wireless router offering from Netgear, designed to fulfil the lifestyle needs of consumers and professionals 'on the go', has been released by Duxbury Networking.
By plugging in any compatible 3G USB modem into the 3G Mobile Broadband Wireless Router - model number MBR624GU - users can create an instant WiFi hotspot.
According to Andy Robb, chief technology officer at Duxbury Networking, the new Netgear router is aimed at users looking to upgrade their network environments and take advantage of a growing number of bandwidth-hungry applications, including online gaming and video streaming.
“It's ideal for sharing a 3G broadband Internet connection virtually anywhere - a satellite or temporary office, construction site, emergency centre, hotel, vacation home, campsite, or even from a moving vehicle,” he says.
