New RightFax 8.5 offers universal information exchange capabilities to small, large businesses

RightFax 8.5, the latest release from Captaris, incorporates several new features and systems enhancements that offer numerous advantages to businesses large and small.

Gil Caplan, founding member of AmVia, says the new version has been rebundled and repriced to offer an effective solution to three main areas of market growth.

First, RightFax 8.5 addresses the increased demand worldwide for a single solution that can efficiently pull business-critical data from multiple customer applications within the organisation, and then provide more efficient channels of electronic document distribution.

"We call this `universal information exchange`, which means that companies can pull information from multiple applications simultaneously and send information to customers in any format they choose - be it fax, e-mail or via the Web," he explains.

The variety of possible applications from which RightFax can draw information includes customer relationship management (CRM) systems, as well as enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications like Baan, Oracle, SAP and more.
