Softline Accpac, a leading provider of business management solutions, is launching its new Sage Accpac Intelligence Report Designer, which is an add-on module to its business intelligence software.
Sage Accpac Intelligence is seamlessly integrated into Softline Accpac over the past two years, as a result of its proven track record that boasts in excess of 22 000 installs worldwide and a renewal rate of 90%.
The ability to make good decisions and proactively solve issues are crucial to the success of any organisation at every level, says Keith Fenner, the Vice-President of Sales at Softline Accpac. “Having comprehensive and relevant information at your fingertips is central to making the right business decisions and Sage Accpac Intelligence Report Designer will do just that.”
The new Report Designer expands upon the functionality of the Accpac Intelligence to provide simplified 'drag and drop' report creation capabilities. “The report designer software will allow users to edit existing layouts, as well as create new financial layouts using an intuitive drag and drop functionality in a familiar Excel interface,” says Charles Teversham, Managing Director of Alchemex South Africa, an integration partner to Softline Accpac.
Alchemex reporting software has simplified financial reporting for thousands of customers worldwide in the SME space in the past 10 years, Teversham says. “Innovation is central to our company ethos, which is why we continuously strive to make report writing easy for the end-user. Simplifying financial reporting and demystifying business intelligence allows companies to gain a better understanding of their data that ultimately paves the way for informed decision-making.”
Teversham expounds: “The Report Designer puts flexible financial reporting in the hands of the end-user, removing the bottleneck of requests to a company's IT department. Users can save time and view reports in different ways, quickly and easily, without having to call on a technical resource and without needing to understand the technical nature of databases and database queries. We firmly believe that this can revolutionise financial reporting.”
Fenner says the need for business intelligence at every level of an organisation, whether large or small, has never been greater. “This decade marks the start of a new era for business management solutions where data needs to be accessible and available in an easily digestible format to benefit the organisation. Business intelligence provides a clear understanding of the transactional history in the company's database. We live in a fast-paced world that is underpinned by a challenging economy and for this reason, every business needs to be informed, on top of their game and fully aware of where they are going at any given time,” Fenner says.
“It has never been easier to have relevant data available in real-time and on demand for staff that need insight to help make the right decisions to protect the business, guard against risk, identify trends, and proactively solve issues,” Fenner concludes.
