South African distributor Rectron has released the latest additions to HP`s scanner family range, the Scanjet 4600 flatbed and Scanjet 4670 vertical "see-thru" scanners.
Both scanners feature HP`s CCD technology, which enable high-speed "see-thru" scanning without compromising quality or performance.
"The Scanjet 4600 flatbed and Scanjet 4670 vertical both ship with clear polycarbonate glass lids plus enable users to scan A4+ sizes," says Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron.
The Scanjet 470 vertical design takes up minimal desk space, while the scanner pivots on a purpose-designed easel can be placed flat over originals, thus enabling accurate scanning.
The Optical Transfer Materials Adapter also enables the scanners to scan 35mm slides or negatives/transparencies.
The Scanjet 4600 flatbed and Scanjet 4670 both offer 2400 dip optical resolution and 48-bit colour for "true-to-life" images.
"The Scanjet 4600 flatbed can also scan flipcharts, wall planners and posters and its auto-crapping feature removes unwanted areas of smaller-than-A4 images," he comments.
