Staffware recently announced receipt of the prestigious Yphise award for best Business Process Management System 2002.
Yphise is the only analyst firm to grant an award based on an ISO 9001-certified assessment process. In their most recent survey* of software tools, Yphise carried out a detailed assessment of six software vendors in the BPM market. Of these six, only Staffware was considered eligible to receive the award. The study included IBM, HP, Filenet, W4, Akazi and Staffware.
Xavier Benmoussa, the lead Yphise analyst, says: "Experience in interaction management is critical to success in BPM, where workflow capabilities and the execution of business processes are more critical to the success of a project than EAI technology. We selected the six leading workflow vendors to assess as part of this study.
"The Staffware Process Suite excelled in each of the five categories assessed, which are essential for large companies to master their business processes. The five areas evaluated were: ensuring the integrity and execution of the process; mastering the impact of change on the processes; providing the Activity Reports on the Process; implementing the process on the information system and allowing the Business Analysts to define the processes."
Says Mark Ehmke, managing director of Staffware SA: "This independent and rigorous in-depth study of the leading products in the field clearly demonstrates the rich functionality and breadth of the Staffware Process Suite. It is particularly gratifying that we excelled in all five sectors. The study shows we have a clear differentiation over competitive products. Staffware sets the benchmark for other products to aspire to."
