Tarsus Technologies has announced the availability of the HP Compaq TC4200 Tablet PC in SA. A perfect balance of performance, durability, functionality and mobility, the TC4200 is a highly convenient mobile computing solution.
"The HP Compaq TC4200 tablet PC is a fully-functional personal computer," explains Jason McMillan, product manager for Tarsus Technologies. "It utilises Windows XP Tablet Edition 2005 with Service Pack 2 and an innovative form factor, giving users the convenience of handwriting on a tablet PC or using the system as a conventional laptop."

"Wired networking is also taken care of with the integrated NetXtreme Gigabit PCI Express Ethernet Controller with the onboard 56k Fax Modem. The optional HP External MultiBay II allows users to slot-in a variety of optical drives or a second hard drive for increased storage capacity and backups. With this level of versatility, the TC4200 will truly meet the demands of any user."

"It features an easy to use scroll-up, scroll-down and enter jog dial as well as pen-activated programmable buttons. There are also ambient light sensors that optimise panel brightness in changing work environments," enthuses McMillan.

The HP Compaq TC4200 tablet PC retails at a recommended retail price of R14 999, inclusive of VAT.
