The new MF2800 and MF3800 from Minolta satisfy the business world`s demand for greater productivity in routine office jobs through high performance faxing, printing, copying and scanning features, cost-cutting Internet faxing and a time-saving dual line function.
"The MF2800 and MF3800 are certainly no ordinary fax machines," says Minolta product manager, Charl Vogel. "Both are designed for business environments where office users want to spend as little time as possible faxing - the MF2800 for general office use and the MF3800 for high-volume applications."
Both machines meet the demand for fast and easy faxing, for example, through the dual line function for simultaneous transmission and reception, and also offer the convenience of faxing straight from a PC and the cost-cutting advantage of Internet faxing.
The benefit of the MF2800 and MF3800 to users in anything from home offices to departmental environments is that they get a four-in-one solution for high-speed faxing, 8 pages per minute printing and copying, and sophisticated scanning at a page-scanning speed of just 2.3 seconds.
One-touch dialling and speed dialling (for up to 164 locations) are functions that save operating time - another important consideration. The large, easy-to-use operation panel with 20 characters on a two-line LCD brings added convenience and the full front access design saves time in setting originals, loading paper and changing cartridges.
"Multifunctional is a much-derided term," says Vogel. "But in the case of Minolta`s new MF2800 and MF3800, it brings the user numerous advantages: flexibility combined with productivity-boosting performance and uncompromising quality."
"In addition to these two new machines, the current MinoltaFax 1600 has been enhanced with increased standard memory, mailboxes, timers and an improved document exit tray - to be marketed as the MinoltaFax 1600e," says Vogel.
