Current Comztek Adobe product manager, Hennie Badenhorst, has been appointed product manager for the complementary Wacom range of pen tablets as well.
This announcement follows Comztek`s recent appointment as the exclusive South African value-added distributor for the Wacom family of products.
Badenhorst`s appointment was a logical step as he has been the Comztek Adobe product manager for a number of years and has excellent insight into the South African graphics design marketplace.
His appointment makes business sense as Adobe and Wacom products are complementary, and their combination under one product manager strengthens Comztek`s offering as it provides a complete graphic workflow solution.
Badenhorst has already made significant inroads into the graphic design market and is now positioned to grow this business further by offering Wacom`s PenPartner, Intuous and Graphire series.
Wacom has, since its inception in 1983, established itself as one of the world`s leading providers of pen and sensor technology - today most Tablet PCs based on Microsoft use this technology. In the future, `Penabled` technology will play a leading role in the development of mobile devices such as smart phones and PDAs.
Current Wacom products available from Comztek include: PenPartner; Volito; Graphire3 Classic/XL; Graphire Bluetooth; Intuos3 A4/A5/A6; Intuos2 A2l; Cintix 15X and Cintix 21UX
