"The goal in today's competitive business world is to do more while spending less," says Erica Marks, product manager Office Systems Group, at Bytes Document Solutions, authorised distributor of Xerox products and solutions to 24 African countries. "That's a challenge, especially as businesses need to invest in order to grow. Xerox's portfolio of technology has an array of cost-effective choices to fit the way businesses work."
The modular and easily manageable WorkCentre 5225/5230 multifunction printer offers print and copy speeds of 25 and 30 pages per minute (ppm) respectively. In addition to Xerox's EIP, the WorkCentre 5225/5230 also has comprehensive security features such as scan-to-password-protected PDF, hard-disk overwrite and data encryption to ensure that confidential data stays private over the network.
The WorkCentre 5225/5230, which operates equally well in Windows, Mac and Unix environments, includes an internal Auditron, which lets administrators set limits for print, copy, fax and scan functions by user. Confidential data stays private over networks thanks to features such as network authentication, print and scan encryption for safe data transfers, and image overwrite. Xerox CentreWare Internet Services simplifies installation and network administration, providing quick access to device status. Automatic e-mail alerts notify administrators or users of events that require attention, such as low toner levels.
