Local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) can now purchase Samsung's new OfficeServ 7200 converged communications platform through MIA Telecoms.
The next-generation “all-in-one” IP platform, says MIA Telecoms, offers a single voice, data and wireless solution and will allow SMEs and other businesses to build sophisticated telephony applications, secure data-communications infrastructure and policy-driven networks.

The OfficeServ 7200, says MIA Telecoms, is a completely converged platform which supports traditional voice communication, voice-over Internet protocol (VOIP), IP-based data and wireless solutions through a wireless LAN.
According to the company, the solution is an "office in a box", providing data router and switching functions, time-division multiplexing (TDM) voice processing, VOIP integration, wireless communications, voice mail with e-mail gateway, and computer telephony integration in a single platform.
OfficeServ also supports IP unified messaging for telephone, IP phone, e-mail, voice mail and fax, according to MIA Telecoms.
The system scales to 144 extensions, 120 IP extensions, 12 voicemail ports, and 64 lines.
