Next-gen iPhone Recorder app unveiled

The new mobile application fully integrates with Philips' professional SpeechExec software and allows users to record and e-mail dictation files directly through their iPhone.

According to Market Watch, the Philips SpeechExec for iPhone Recorder enables professionals on the road to create documents whenever and wherever needed.

“Authors can record and send dictation files from home, the office or even from the skies to anywhere in the world: conveniently, securely and quickly. Wireless dictation transmission dramatically increases personal productivity as users are now able to get ideas onto paper the moment inspiration strikes or the situation calls for it,” says Thomas Brauner, CEO Speech Processing Solutions.

Fully integrated with the professional SpeechExec workflow, files are encrypted so that dictation transmission is secure and reliably protected from unauthorized access, Generation New Technology states.

Philips SpeechExec for iPhone Recorder also allows audio files to be downloaded via an HTTP server integrated with the app.
